Please, call me CJ!
I’m Cresen Jake—it’s one name, like Mary Kate, and it’s pronounced (Crehh-sin), like crescent moon. But everyone just calls me CJ. I’m an Ontario native with Filipino roots. I got into design because it reflects the diverse environment I grew up in. Through design, I can communicate with a large audience, bringing people together to enjoy something fun to look at and interact with.
CJ: the designer.
I’m a creative thinker who streamlines interactions using common sense and research. I approach design from an empathetic standpoint, aiming to create experiences that are accessible to everyone.
As a Psychology major turned UX Design major, combined with my experience working at the Nielsen Norman Group, my diverse background has taught me to make mindful design decisions that ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
CJ the foodie explorer!
In my free time, and when the budget allows, I enjoy hopping on a train or in my car, getting off at a random stop, and exploring the area. The highlight of my day is discovering delicious and unique spots to eat at.
